We're Ready To #ShareVanLove This Season

Thank you to everyone that wanted to help us #ShareVanLove and sent in emails telling us about friends and family members overseas that deserve a little Vancouver love this holiday season. It warmed our hearts to read them all and hear how much those individuals are missed by their friends and family who live here.

Also, we're not sure what it is with the Canadian/Australian relationship but it seems like there are just as many Vancouverites over there as there are Aussies over here based on the amount of emails we received asking us to send packages to Australia. There is definitely a strong Vancouver presence down under!

We're excited to be sending out some Vancouver care packages and hope the help make their new owners feel a bit less homesick this Christmas.

A big thank you to The Regional Assembly Of Text for supporting our project and helping us #ShareVanLove. They provided the awesome Vancouver inspired printed goodies we were able to include with our Vancouver, we love you shirts. They have a great selection of west coast cards, letter writing paper, and postcards so make sure to check them out if you haven't already.

The Regional Assembly Of Text also host a fantastic letter writing club night the first Thursday of every month, complete with tea and cookies!

Help Us #ShareVanLove This Christmas

Quite a few of our Vancouver we love you shirt orders come from outside of BC. Often there's a note attached from the person ordering, explaining that he or she is a former Vancouverite missing home. They found our project and hope our shirt is a small comfort while they're away. It's tough to be far from a place you love.

This holiday season we thought it would be fun to play Santa and surprise a few people abroad with a little Vancouver love. We're reaching out to YOU to let us know who you think could use a Vancouver care package.

Do you have a friend or family member living abroad at the moment? Email us by December 6th with a little bit about them and why you think we should send them a gift this Christmas. We'll pick a handful of winners and send them a Vancouver, we love you shirt and a few other Vancouver items to remind them of this great city. Help us #ShareVanLove this Christmas!
