    Three Year Anniversary!

It's about this time three years ago that we picked up a box of "VANCOUVER" printed t-shirts, gathered our friends for a photo and video shoot, and kicked off this little project we called "Vancouver, we love you [the t-shirt project]."

We didn't really have any expectations after we stocked the store and clicked "post." All we knew then was that we loved this city and were proud to call it home. We just hoped that maybe there were other's that would want to join us in our declaration.

Fast forward three years and we've created an organic community of hundreds of Vancouver lovers and project supporters spanning the globe. Our shirts are delivered to people down the road and mailed across the oceans far and wide. Supporters have sent in pictures of themselves wearing the shirt in their favorite spots around Vancouver, across Canada, and places far and wide like Japan, India, Greece, China, Australia, Thailand, Kenya, and many more. All with the same comments, "someone stopped me and said they liked my shirt and love Vancouver!"

Beside gathering a scrapbook full of photos from supporters, we've also built some amazing partnerships with companies that share our passion of grabbing life with both hands and enjoying the moments.

We started our Great Adventure Club with the mission of experiencing life to it's fullest and exploring the great outdoors. A massive thank you to Red Paddle CoGrouse MountainCypress MountainNorth Shore ParaglidingSnow Limo TourFlyZone Bodyflight, KIND SnacksStanley Park BreweryWhistler World Ski And Snowboard FestWhistler Brewing, and all the other great organizations that have helped us leap off mountainszip through forestsattempt to fly, and enjoy the best parts of this city.

We want to thank everyone that has supported our project, sent in a photo, joined us on an outdoor adventure, or bought a shirt. With every shirt sale we've also been able to continue our financial commitment of giving 10% to Covenant House Vancouver

We love this city. We love you.

If you're not a friend of ours on Facebook yet, make sure to 'like' us and check out more of the photo albums, and "follow" us on Twitter to join the conversation. We also love Instagram, if you're into that too. And if you've yet to join the project, pick up a Vancouver, we love you shirt or tank and help us keep this story going….

Join Our Annual Clothing Drive For Covenant House!

We are extremely fortunate to live in one of the most wonderful cities in the world and chances are if you're reading this post that you have a roof over your head, food in your fridge, and a warm bed to sleep in tonight. You probably also have a couple of hoodies, sweaters, jeans, and jackets in your closet that you haven't worn in a while. Why not do something good with those items and donate them to Covenant House to pass on to the street youth they help in our city?

We know you're busy and have a lot going on, so we've made it super easy too. Besides being able to drop off your donations at Covenant House 24hrs a day any day of the week, we've also found some amazingly supportive businesses and events across the city to partner with us and sign up as drop off locations. Some are even giving you deals for bringing in your gently used clothing! Check out the full listing of drop off locations and event details by clicking "Read More." A huge thank you to all the businesses and people that are helping us do a little good around our city. Because really, it's too easy not to. It just makes sense.

Collingwood School Loves Vancouver.... And Doing Good!

When we started Vancouver, we love you [the t-shirt project] our goal wasn't just to sell some cool looking shirts. Right from the start we wanted the project to be about more than shirts, or Vancouver, or how great the two look together. So we partnered with Covenant House and have given 10% of every t-shirt sale back to them to help youth living on our city streets. We've also used our project to help promote amazing local musicians and events and have had a ton of fun in the process. And now we can say we've used this project to inspire young children!

Earlier this month Vancouver, we love you creator Sarah Shandl was invited to speak to the Collingwood School's Grade 7 class about how the project started and why it's important to her to use it as a vehicle to help affect change in our community. Collingwood school also wanted to get on board with our passion for doing good and are the first group participating in the new Vancouver, we love you Community Fundraising Program, which they used to raise money for Covenant House.
